This 4K time-lapse film was shot over the course of 3 days during an annual backpacking trip to say goodbye to the end of summer and enjoy the last little bit of the warm season with a group of friends.
These images were shot around Little Lakes in Mammoth Lakes California during September of 2016.
The clips seen were compiled from over 6,000 still photos edited in Lightroom and processed in AE.
Time-lapse photography has always been a way for me to reflect and enjoy the precious time in a given destination. Time-lapse overall has rapidly progressed into an expressive media and over the years as a whole has grown rapidly in popularity with help from all the technological leaps and bounds within the field.
As an early adopter of the Dynamic Perception motion control system as well as the eMotimo camera robot(s) these companies have really empowered users to be able to capture all the amazing beauty around the world in a manner never previously seen before with such ease and affordability.

I decided to something a bit different by having my Bachelor Party in the middle of the Ansel Adams Wilderness. We spent a long weekend nestled under the Minarets in the Ritter Mountain Range. The boys and I spent our time hiking, fishing, drinking and enjoying the raw beauty of nature. It was a unique experience none of us will soon forget.
